7 Things To Thrift For Spring

Spring is one of the most beautiful times of year and a great opportunity to refresh your home and wardrobe. Be on the lookout for these seven things to add to your spring style this season.

1. All The Bunnies

Animals in general are great for a whimsical, woodland vibe, but bunnies give a specifically spring vibe. I love more realistic than cutesy looking bunnies, but to each their own.

2. High Quality Faux Florals & Greenery

It's true, a lot of florals and greenery are past their prime by the time they hit the thrift shop shelves, but it's also true that they don't make them like they used to. I've found some of my best faux florals (and faux fruit) at the thrift shop and even though they're at least 15 to 20 years old, they look more realistic than what I find new in stores these days.

3. Weathered Pots

There are ways to distress new terracotta pots to give them that weathered look, but there's nothing like the real thing. Always be on the lookout for pots, garden urns, and other outdoor decor.

4. Neutral Linen

Linen is the fabric of spring to me. Watch for it in bedding, tablecloths and napkins, skirts, shirts, and more! Keep it versatile by keeping it neutral.

5. Picnic Baskets

I can never turn down a cute little picnic basket in great condition. Use them for actual picnics or as a stylish way to create hidden storage. For example, this vintage basket houses tiny, breakable things I don't use often and want to keep tucked away from the kids.

6. Landscape Art

Thrifting is my favorite way to collect art. For spring I like to look for florals and peaceful landscape scenes.

7. Florals In General

Floral art, dishes, clothes, decor, etc. I love incorporating flowers in my home and wardrobe all year, but especially for the spring season.
