I think everyone has a banana bread recipe they swear by. I've never tried a banana bread I didn't like, but this is one of my favorites because I don't have to feel guilty about eating a ton of it! There's no sugar, eggs, or dairy, and you could easily sub out the flour for a different kind if you wanted to. (I should probably say hardly any sugar and dairy because I do top mine with cinnamon and sugar and butter, but that part is completely optional.)

Here's what you'll need:
2 cups all purpose flour
1tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup apple sauce
3/4 cup honey
3 mashed overripe bananas
Here's what to do:
Preheat your oven to 350°F
Combine all your dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce, honey, and bananas.
Combine the two mixtures and pour into a greased 9X5 pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (or just cinnamon)
Bake for 60-65 minutes
Let your banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes then transfer it to a wire rack to continue cooling.
Don't let it cool too long because nothing beats warm banana bread.
Like I said, I top mine with butter and cinnamon and sugar, but you can top yours with whatever you want or leave it plain.
Enjoy!
