Switching up bedding is my favorite way revamp a space with minimal effort. It's also my favorite way to welcome in each new season. Sometimes it's just changing up pillows and other times I completely redo the entire bed. With summer approaching, I wanted to set a new scene and enter a new mindset for this next season so I'm changing everything from the ground up.

I started by crafting myself a new bedskirt out of a set of thrifted sheets. I liked our old one, but the cats completely tore it to shreds so it was time to say goodbye. I actually bought this curtain panel to use as Isla's bedskirt, but went in a different direction. I like that it's neutral and subtle, but not boring and think it works well in the space.
I got a few new pieces from Levtex Home, maybe you can help me decide on a favorite for this summer.
I love to layer my bedding so I started with a cotton, waffle-knit quilt in a beautiful ochre color. I love a vibrant yellow for summer and think this slightly muted shade keeps things looking super cozy. During the hottest parts of summer, I'll probably leave this quilt on by itself styled something like this. I think the simplicity is beautiful.

The two layers I'm debating between are the Bettina floral duvet cover and the Cosima quilt. I'm obsessed with the groovy florals and rich colors of the Bettina and really like the cozy feel a duvet brings to a space. But I think the Cosima gives such a fresh and serene vibe and totally fits with the vintage, slightly french styles in my room.

It's a tough choice, but let me know your favorite!
A beautifully made bed puts me in such a great mindset for each day and new, cozy bedding to collapse into each night is just the best!
Making this change inspired another change in this space too! I redid my desk to feel a little more coastal so be sure to check that out here if you love that style for summer.
Everything I used for each of these looks is linked in my Amazon storefront under "summer bedding" if you're wanting to reset your space for summer too!
