Be it real or faux, you can't go wrong with leather accents for fall. It's a great way to bring texture, durability and a little edge to any look. Leather is a classic for a reason and I think we're going to see a lot of it this season.
Scroll through to see leather pieces I'm loving in my own wardrobe and to shop the look. I've included investment pieces as well as more affordable options, but thrifting for your leather goods is always a good way to find quality pieces at an amazing price with the added bonus of sustainability.
BOOTS
My collection of leather boots is split pretty evenly between thrifted and non-thrifted. It's the highlight of my day when I thrift a good pair of boots, but it's also something I won't hesitate to pay full price for because I know they're worth it.
I found this pair new in the box at a thrift shop.

BAGS
One of my absolute favorite bags in my collection is an oversized leather tote that was handed down to me. It looks good with everything and never fails to bring in the compliments.
I also own the hobo bag linked on this list (number three) and would very much recommend it as a faux option.

SKIRTS
I love a classic leather or suede skirt and all my favorite ones have been thrift finds. I found both of these skirts at the same thrift shop in Wisconsin almost exactly a year apart from each other.

DRESSES
I've yet to find a genuine leather dress, but this vintage faux one has served me well and is the perfect layer to add a little different texture to my outfits this fall.
It's very similar to number two of the linked options.

ACCESSORIES
I actually bought this hat as a gift for Nathan, but I'll totally be stealing it for myself whenever he'll let me. It's such a cool and unexpected incorporation of leather.

PANTS
Leather pants or leggings are a go-to to add a little edge to your look. If you know you'll wear them for years, invest in the real thing. But if you're just experimenting or aren't too sure about them, opt for quality faux.
JACKETS
There's nothing more classic than a leather jacket. You can't go wrong with black, brown is a solid choice, but a jacket is the perfect opportunity to have a little fun, show some personality, and add color to your style. This bold, red jacket used to be my mom's and I'll probably never part with it.

Leather is going to be a go-to this season. It's a fashion staple in my opinion and I love adding pieces to my wardrobe that I know I'll be able to use and love for many many years.
