Christmas Bedroom Reveal

Each year I make a point to decorate the bedrooms for Christmas. It's fun for the kids and really helps me get into the holidays in a way that's cozy and relaxing when I'm done with it. This year I wanted to focus on comfort so I combined several of my favorite fabrics and textures to create the ultimate cozy winter bedding featuring classic Christmas patterns and colors.

I started by swapping the sheets for a set of plaid, flannel ones from Levtex home. I also got a set for Emmitt's bed (which I'll show you at the end) because the plaid perfectly fits with his Christmas cabin theme. The sheets are so unbelievably soft and cozy and I can tell you now that when the temperatures really drop this winter, nothing and no one will be able to drag me out of that bed!

Next I layered on a Waffle knit duvet from Levtex Home. I have some of their other waffle knit blankets and find them so soft and comfortable so I knew this would be a perfect choice to stay warm but not too hot for winter.

I think Christmas pillows are so cute and fun and I definitely had a hard time choosing just a couple to include on this bed, but you can't go wrong with plaid and Santa. I also styled one of my vintage plaid blankets at the foot of the bed, but will probably end up swapping it out soon for my favorite electric blanket.

To coordinate things a little better, I swapped out the art above the nightstands for something plaid and green and changed out the blue lampshades for a pair of red check and toile ones I recently made (and will tell you more about soon).

I think this new, holiday bedding looks pretty and festive, but the feel of it is absolute perfection for this chilly winter we're already experiencing.

As promised, here's a little look at Emmitt's Christmas bedding. His quilt is actually reversible with a woodsy Christmas scene on the back which made transitioning the space a breeze. I added holiday pillows, hung a stocking, added some rainbow lights and was finished!

Everything from my bedding and Emmitt's can be found in my Amazon storefront if you want to add anything to your own home this season!
