Pottery Barn Thrift Dupe

I'd been loving these gorgeous Pottery Barn bowls, but wasn't about to drop $130 on a bowl. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this unique wooden bowl at Goodwill for $10! It reminded me so much of those Pottery Barn bowls and straight into the cart it went.

This is definitely a handmade piece which are my favorite to find. The bottom is signed and dated and there was a sticker with a name and address on the bottom as well. There's a 1996 penny attached to the base and the legs are actually coat hooks which is quite an interesting choice.

All I had to do when I got home was clean it and unscrew the legs and I had myself a little Pottery Barn dupe! I could lighten the wood to make it look even more like those other bowls, but I kind of like the warmer tone with the rest of the decor in my home so for now it'll stay as is.

I love the unique markings in the wood and think it looks beautiful styled as is with no filler, but I can also picture it all kinds of different ways around my house so I'm excited to play around with this piece and see how it looks in different spots.

If you really love the Pottery Barn version (I don't blame you) and don't mind the price, I've linked it below as well as a few other more affordable options.
